12:10 pm - What the hell?
|
I woke up this morning feeling very sick. I HATE that feeling. I'll get some food and it will go away.
Funny VG Cats about Episode III: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/ Syreene pointed it out.
This is my last post here.
ATTENTION: IF YOU WISH TO READ MY JOURNAL ANYMORE, FRIEND 'MUSTBETHURSDAY.' OTHERWISE, FAREWELL! I WILL LIKELY REMIND ONE MORE TIME BUT THEN NEVER AGAIN. CIAO, CIAO.

12:47 pm - Soooooo
|
This is my last day on GeminiPrincess. I remember starting this because Sharon brought it up to me way back in the day, I believe I was about sixteen. She already had one, so I took one up. I had never had very much luck with journals -- always forgot to write in them. However, since I was regularly on the internet, it became easy to check my lj and post. The more friends I acquired, the more I had to read. This thing has kept me in touch with people that I otherwise would have probably not spoken to regularly again. Friends that I really care about, and want to hear about, but live too far away from or just don't get to see regularly.
That's why I don't intend to quit LJ, but rather start a new one. A new chapter. I can shed the past and move on, which is a rather nice feeling right now. Today I have to write all my thank you cards. Tomorrow comics and Starbucks with Chad (hopefully), and the rest of the week? No idea. Although Friday Mr. and Mrs. Smith comes out. Oooo. I have to hang with Kristina and Anne, since Anne is leaving on Saturdy for Costa Rica.

Been a bit down lately, and I'm not certain why. Might be because of this horrid weather. I don't mind drizzly weather, but it's been grating on my nerves.
Last night I played Halo with Erin, Chad, and Troy. Chad and Erin both had guests too. It was fantastic. I had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again! Today I showed around a German boy named Kristoff and Kristina and Anne came along. I ran into them, so they hung out with us all day. We went around the Old port and ate at Flatbread, where Erin gave us a free pizza, and it was terribly exciting. She is AWESOME! Then we went and got ice cream, and walked around the island next to Falmouth.
Overall: wonderful time.
Am soooo tired now!

So I bought and watched Phantom of the Opera. I love the play, and liked the movie, but I still find it a little unbelievable that he can think of himself as ugly considering it's frickin' Gerard Butler with only half of his face messed up. Heck, he still has the other half, and that's gooorgeous. Still, thought overall it was interesting, but plays are hard to make into successful movies. It's just a different feel.
Have been enjoying X-Box live greatly. I think I am improving a tiny bit. I still have trouble getting kills, but I feel more at home with it, at least. I am pretty good at working as a team, I don't mind backing up someone or distracting a bad guy so the person can go up behind them. I usually have like 10 assists even if I have like no kills.
So in just a few days it will be June and I will have my new livejournal. That's kind of exciting. I am supposed to show around this German fellow sometime this weekend, bring him to the Old Port and talk, so that'll be fun. I like new people.
Amy gave me a graduation gift: Pearl earrings!

I'm going to have to start making "Halo" entries so people don't have to suffer through them. I just played again and met these really nice Brits who were giving me advice for living in London. It was really awesome of them! I think it's really nice how people invite me to join their parties and give advice, even though I tell them clearly that I suck. And I think I have gotten a little better! I got ten kills, the other night!

Another day of R & R. Last night I played Halo and met these three hysterical guys from Miami. They were all really good so they let me join their group and play with them. Obviously I sucked, but since they were really good they managed to keep us winning. When we played against some really hard people, I'd find a place to hide. I seriously laughed for about three hours straight. SO fun and funny!
At one point we had to separate teams, and Ruthie and I took on Virgil, which was funny because neither of them would kill me even if I was on the opposite team, so instead they'd run by me and I'd say "Hey boys" and they'd just hang out on the screen to say hi before running away. At one point I was on the other team and all three of them were on my enemy, and the people on my team were like "Why the hell are none of them ever firing at you?" ::laughs:: It was fun!
God I love X-Box Live. I love Chad for getting me into it!

Lois Griffin: We've got a surprise for you, honey! Stewie Griffin: I wonder if it's another one of those boxes with the cranks. I turn the crank and the music plays until woo! Big surprise! A Jack pops out. And then you laugh, andthe kids laugh, and the dog laughs, and I die a little inside.

Finished Jade Empire. Total time: Eleven hours and twenty-some minutes. I know it was really frickin' fast. Loved it. Great game. Now started Fable, and enjoyed Halo 2.
It's been raining since before dawn. Grrrr

I graduated. I'm done. I have a diploma and everything. It's in Latin.
Graduation was great. Spending time with Mike (even if he was stressed), Alissa, and Andi was fabulous. Sean spent time with us too, and it was great to see him. We really had a blast, even if we only got to spend a small amount of time compared to what we used to. Still, I am so happy that they came to my graduation, and I enjoyed the fireworks.
Last night I hooked up my X-Box live and played Halo for about six hours. I had so much fun I am twitching now just to sign back in. I need to have waffles and finish Jade Empire first. This is my last week on this name. Just to remind people, on the first of June, I am switching to mustbethursday. If you want to keep reading my journal, you will have to switch there, because this one is nooooot gonna be updated any more.
Waaaaaaffles.

Got to Bard safely. Tent party seemed silly. Got to watch two Scrubs with Andi and Alissa. Poor Mike was so exhausted from work.
Later today I graduate. Wow.

Saw Star Wars again. Liked it MUCH better this time around. Really got to appreciate the special effects. The dialogue was still very crappy, although I came out loving Obi-Wan even more, if that's possible. Such a beautiful character, and he and Padme were the two I felt bad for. Yoda, seriously, is amazing. The entire theater was SO into him.
I am leaving for Bard tomorrow, to hang out with my Mikey, Andi, and Lissa. Then Saturday I graduate. Yeesh.

Lots of things to report. Bear with me, though, my head is all fuzzy from not getting home til 3:45 from midnight showing of Star Wars. First of all, had an awesome talk with a Firefly watcher, and now know who dies in the movie. Was shocked, and very twitchy, yet want to see it more than ever now! I lent my DVD's over to Chad, so they can all enjoy and join in with the excitement.
Saturday I graduate!!!
Okay. Below is my feelings on Star Wars. I do not think I will have spoilers, but you never know. So read at your own risk.

I don't think there were really spoilers there. Hrm. We'll see. Anyway. So I get home at 3:45, and fall into bed. 7 o'clock, my mother wakes me up to say that my father wants me to be on his radio show. Usually that wouldn't bother me, but I'm barely awake and grumbling. I stumble over to the phone, and by the time he calls to talk my mind is finally awake just enough to be coherent. We had a good talk, my dad was basically bursting with pride reminding everyone over and over that I'm graduating. He's such a cutie. Anyway, they asked me the oddest question.
This involves politics and Monsieur Bush/republicans, not in a good light, so if you don't want to read it, don't!
